Cacao Minty Cheezzzcakes

I enjoy the challenge of taking a thought of a particular food and making it in my kitchen.

As I will be at the Yarrow Community School Christmas Market today, I thought I would make something that is a flavour of Christmas.  Cacao Minty Cheezzzcakes are the result.  A dark chocolately flavour with a not so subtle hint of mint.

Thursday, November 24th you will find me at the Yarrow Community School Christmas Market from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
I will have the usual fare along with some Holiday surprises and Gift Certificates.

Friday, September 18th you will find me a Yarrow Twilight Farm and Artisan Market from 4:00 to 7:00.
Moroccan Stew, Savoury Soup and Mock Salmon Pate are on them menu.



Saturday, September 19th I will be at the Mission City Farmers Market from 9:00 to 1:00.
At 11:00 I will be giving a demo on making Sauerkraut. Come out and try some!

August 19th, Yarrow Twilight Farm & Art Market 5 to 8pm

Yarrow.... I am coming your way tomorrow with Beet Soup, Carrot & Dill Pate, and Ben's Burgers & BBQ Sauce, served with Cole Slaw.
I will have the regular sweet treats, along with Pizza Crusts, Black Sesame Crackers, and Onion Bread.
I will also have fresh APPLE PIES! So delicious!

This weekend you can find me at Yarrow Twilight Farm and Art Market Friday from 5 to 8pm, and Saturday at the Mission City Farmers Market from 9:00 to 2:00  (we are open an hour later as it is Mission Fest!).
It will be hot out there, come and cool off with a frozen pop ~ Prairie Pops, Fruity Pops, Honey Dew Pop, or a Razzy Peach Pop.
I will also have some "better than organically grown" strawberries and Italian prune plums.

The van is packed, on my way into Vancouver for their Downtown Farmer's Market at QE Theatre Plaza.   Farmer's Market is open from 2 to 6.

Raw Food Classes in Your Home

Invite family and friends over for an educational food experience!

Home classes are an informal way to introduce raw food to family and friends, and a great way to learn how to start making delicious nutrient dense food.


I provide:  All the food and equipment, everything that is needed for the class except the kitchen sink!
                  Recipes and instruction booklet.


You provide:  The kitchen sink


Class Size:   Minimum of 5 people in attendance (the hostess and at least 4 other people). 
                     Maximum 10 people.


Investment:  Each participant is $50. 
                     Hostess is $35.00 
                     Discounts may be given for spouses.


Raw Basics is a great beginner's class.  We make green smoothies, soup, crackers or bread, main entrĂ©e (usually zucchetti and marinara sauce), followed by a dessert such as brownies or apple pie.


Other classes available are:  Dehydrating Basics, Non-Dairy Delights, For the Kids, Wild Edibles and the Picnic Basket, International Flavours, Just Desserts, Pizza Party!
